I originally took these photos in response to a post on the Bible Design and Binding website where I had mentioned the difference in grains between Bibles. The grain on my wife's and mine are different, due to the natural difference between the skins of the goats that are used to make the Bibles.

This is the grain on my (Rob) ESV. Actually seems like a more masculine grain in comparison to hers.
